The perfect remote control for your music

Using your FRITZ!Fon cordless phone as a remote control is easy. It features a media player that can be used to play music stored on the FRITZ!Box or other media players.

Listening to music on FRITZ!Fon or other devices

The FRITZ!Fon can either play the music itself or launch playback on another UPnP-enabled device, for example a wireless loudspeaker.

How to play your favorite music

1. Select a media player

First, select "Home Network" from the FRITZ!Fon menu, which includes an entry called "Media player". When you select the "Media player" entry, the display will show not only the FRITZ!Box media server, but also all other media servers in the home network.

2. Play favorite music

You can browse the available content and, for example, play individual tracks or an entire folder from your home music library.
