FRITZ!Powerline 1240 AX supports Wi-Fi 6 in the 2.4 GHz spectrum with up to 600 Mbit/s. With Powerline, the data is distributed over the electrical wiring with up to 1,200 Mbit/s. This means PCs and TVs receive a high-speed data stream over your home's power lines and smartphones and the like surf reliably in the Wi-Fi.

The FRITZ!Powerline 1240 AX supports Mesh Wi-Fi, meaning your videos, music and photos seamlessly reach every corner of your home, apartment or office. How does it work? The FRITZ! devices work together as part of a single network, communicating with each other and optimizing wireless devices and network usage.

60 to 80 percent higher data rate via the socket
The 2x2 MIMO function, whereby two transmitters and receivers exchange data simultaneously via the three wires of the circuit, provides the speed boost via the electrical wiring. This is especially useful for data-intensive applications such as streaming in HD or online gaming. Any electrical outlet can be turned into a high-speed network port.
