With the templates feature that was introduced in FRITZ!OS 7, you can now save the settings of your Smart Home devices and groups as a template for certain occasions e.g. holidays or vacation. For example, you can create a template for when you're on early shift and another one for when you're on late shift and switch between them at the touch of a button.

When you buy a new FRITZ!Box, you don't necessarily have to set it up from scratch: You can save the data and settings on the old FRITZ!Box and reactivate them at a later date.

Use the FRITZ!Box's automatic update function to always keep FRITZ!OS up do date.

With the MyFRITZ! service AVM grants you secure access to your data. The contents saved at home can be used even when you're at work or visiting friends. You can also use it to switch connected smart home devices.

With FRITZ!App TV and FRITZ!Box Cable you can stream free-to-air TV signals wirelessly in the home network and access them from a tablet, smartphone or PC.
