With the FRITZ!Repeater 3000 AX, AVM is launching a new tri-band repeater that extends Wi-Fi networks with fast Wi-Fi 6 and intelligent Mesh technology. Thanks to three radio units with a total of eight antennas the tri-band repeater offers high data rates of up to 4,200 Mbit/s – both to the user's end devices and to the router as the home network hub. Users can also distribute data in the home network at gigabit speeds via the two LAN ports. In combination with a FRITZ!Box, the FRITZ!Repeater 3000 AX spans a seamless home network thanks to Mesh Wi-Fi, which optimally supplies even large apartments with many rooms. Even multiple, simultaneous streaming or gaming applications always run smoothly – users can take part in a team meeting while working from home, and the kids can stream videos in 4K without any issues. The FRITZ!Repeater 3000 AX has an upright housing design for top transmission and reception quality. With the FRITZ!Repeater 3000 AX, AVM is adding a very powerful Mesh product to its range of modular home network expansion. Thanks to its sleek redesign, the new repeater also fits ideally into the existing Wi-Fi 6 portfolio with FRITZ!Repeater 1200 AX and FRITZ!Repeater 6000. The FRITZ!Repeater 3000 AX will be available in German retail from next week.

Tri-band and Wi-Fi 6: a strong team for the home network

The FRITZ!Repeater 3000 AX comes with three radio units – one in the 2.4 GHz band and two more in the 5 GHz band. As is usual for tri-band repeaters from AVM, a 5 GHz module is also used here exclusively for wireless communication with the FRITZ!Box as the Mesh hub. Four streams are available to this module for a stable connection. The two other radio modules, each with two streams, handle the connection to the end devices. This makes data rates of up to 4,200 Mbit/s possible. The FRITZ!Repeater 3000 AX supports the Wi-Fi 6 standard and can thus supply multiple clients with the necessary data rates at the same time – even in densely populated areas with a number of adjacent Wi-Fi networks. Two LAN ports also allow users to connect network-compatible devices via cable at gigabit speeds. With its extensive features, the FRITZ!Repeater 3000 AX is the ideal addition to an existing home network. Thanks to innovative features such as crossband repeating, Mesh Wi-Fi steering and the self-healing function, the FRITZ! Mesh Wi-Fi ensures optimum data rates at all times. Setting up Mesh Wi-Fi with a FRITZ!Box is as easy as ever at the touch of a button. The FRITZ!App WLAN helps users find the ideal position in the home. As the FRITZ!Repeater 3000 AX also works with routers from other manufacturers, users can also quickly expand their home network in this way.
