At the international industry event MWC 2022, taking place from 28 February to 3 March, the Berlin-based communications specialist AVM will present the current product generation for DSL, cable and 5G – as well as a premiere for fiber optics. "The Smart Wi-Fi Experience", AVM's slogan for this year's MWC, sums up the benefits of FRITZ! products: FRITZ!Box models and Mesh Repeaters bring fast internet and long-range Wi-Fi to any connection and into every home. This makes any task child's play, from entertainment to working from home.

This also characterizes the FRITZ!Box 5590 Fiber, which is premiering at the MWC: With its SFP module, the new fiber flagship is suitable for all standard fiber optic connections throughout Europe and distributes speeds of up to 10 gigabits per second, wirelessly via Wi-Fi 6 (4 x 4) as well as via a 2.5-gigabit LAN port in the home network. The FRITZ!Box 6690 Cable, which also offers high gigabit speeds with low latency, will also be at the MWC. In addition, the new premium model for cable internet is equipped with Wi-Fi 6 (4 x 4) and 2.5 Gigabit LAN. For DSL, the FRITZ!Box 7590 AX is available, which gets the most out of DSL networks with 35b supervectoring and Wi-Fi 6. With the FRITZ!Box 4060, AVM is presenting a Wi-Fi 6-capable tri-band wireless router that is ideal for connecting to a fiber optic or cable modem. In addition to the powerful, intelligent Mesh Wi-Fi and a 2.5 gigabit WAN port, the wireless router in this product category is the first to have DECT integrated for the use of Smart Home devices and telephony. With the FRITZ!Box 6850 5G, AVM is presenting a versatile all-in-one home network router for use in all European 5G networks – standalone and non-standalone. With fast Wi-Fi, gigabit LAN and a base station for telephony and Smart Home, it offers full convenience for 5G and 3G/4G internet. All models feature the high level of telephony, Mesh Wi-Fi and Smart Home features familiar with FRITZ!Box.
