With the new FRITZ!Repeater 6000, AVM is launching a new top model that combines Wi-Fi 6 with intelligent Mesh technology. With three radio units and 12 antennas, the new tri-band repeater is a masterpiece in the Wi-Fi 6 class, taking home Wi-Fi to the next level. The new FRITZ!Repeater ensures exceptionally stable and maximum-range coverage. Even with multiple streaming and gaming applications running at the same time, the Wi-Fi always runs smoothly – for example, during video meetings when working from home, with a 4K stream running in parallel and the children being home schooled. Together with a FRITZ!Box, the FRITZ!Repeater 6000 creates a seamless Wi-Fi network using intelligent Mesh technology. This means that even in large apartments and complex structural conditions, all devices are always optimally supplied with Wi-Fi: from laptops and smartphones to smart TVs and game consoles. The 2.5 Gbit/s and 1 Gbit/s ports can also be used to quickly distribute data in the home network via LAN. The FRITZ!Repeater 6000 caps AVM's comprehensive offering for modular home expansion using Mesh Wi-Fi. If required, the new top model can easily be combined with all FRITZ!Box models as well as the FRITZ!Repeaters 2400, 1200 and 600 and the tri-band repeater 3000.

The FRITZ!Repeater 6000 combines powerful hardware with AVM's intelligent Mesh Wi-Fi technology. With Wi-Fi data rates of up to 6 Gbit/s, the FRITZ!Repeater 6000 meets even the highest demands – and gets the most out of smartphones and other latest-generation wireless devices thanks to Wi-Fi 6. The FRITZ!Repeater 6000's powerful Wi-Fi 6 enables the simultaneous use of multiple wireless devices in the home network. Mesh Wi-Fi steering, auto channel selection, crossband repeating and other intelligent technologies ensure that all mobile devices such as tablets and notebooks are always connected to the optimal wireless access point. An additional advantage is the particularly short response and run times of the IP packets, which are important for gaming, for example.

A powerful combination for comprehensive Wi-Fi coverage: Tri-band and Wi-Fi 6

Like the FRITZ!Repeater 3000, the new top model has three radio units – one for the 2.4 GHz band and two more for the 5 GHz band. Thanks to four streams each, the FRITZ!Repeater 6000's three radio units enable a maximum data rate of up to 6 Gbit/s: at 5 GHz up to 2400 Mbit/s per radio unit and in the 2.4 GHz band up to 1200 Mbit/s. Via the additional unit for 5 GHz, the Mesh repeater communicates with the FRITZ!Box to ensure optimal integration of all devices in the Mesh Wi-Fi. The other two bands are therefore free to communicate with end devices. The Wi-Fi 6 standard also uses OFDMA modulation. As a result, the FRITZ!Repeater 6000 scores particularly highly in environments with a number of neighboring Wi-Fi networks and is able to supply multiple devices at the same time. The two LAN ports, each with 2.5 Gbit/s and 1 Gbit/s, allow the latest generation of network-compatible devices to be quickly integrated via cable. The fast distribution of large amounts of data, e.g. from a NAS device or to a TV set, is possible over longer distances in the home network. The FRITZ!Repeater 6000 also works with routers from other manufacturers or providers. This means users can enjoy the best Wi-Fi even if not using a FRITZ!Box. The Mesh technology from FRITZ! is based on internationally accepted standards and can be used for both backend-based and cloud-based Wi-Fi management. This enables FRITZ! products to be managed centrally in businesses or by providers.

Quick and easy to set up

The upright housing design means the new repeater can be placed anywhere in the home. The FRITZ!Repeater 6000 is set up in next to no time and integrated into the FRITZ! home network at the touch of a button. The tri-band repeater automatically adopts all FRITZ!Box settings, such as the Wi-Fi network name (SSID), password, night service and guest network settings. In addition, the LEDs on the FRITZ!Repeater 6000 signal the connection setup and quality of the connection between the repeater and the FRITZ!Box. Users can also use the FRITZ!App WLAN to find the perfect position for their Mesh repeater. With free updates of the intelligent FRITZ!OS operating system, the Mesh repeater, like all FRITZ! products, regularly receives new features and security fixes.
