Since updating FRITZ!OS, FRITZ!Powerline no longer works

Since updating FRITZ!OS manually or automatically, the FRITZ!Powerline device no longer works. One or several LEDs on the device flash continuously or all LEDs are off. The update failed.

Simply proceed as described below. After each measure, check whether the problem is solved.

1 Restarting the FRITZ!Powerline device

  1. Click "Powerline" in the user interface of FRITZ!Powerline.
  2. Click the "Restart" button in the section "Restart" in the "Powerline" menu.

    Note:Restarting the FRITZ!Powerline device will not delete any of the settings.

2 Loading the factory settings by button

  1. Plug the FRITZ!Powerline device into an electrical outlet and wait about 1 minute until the FRITZ!Powerline device has restarted completely.
  2. Push the corresponding button on the device:

    FRITZ!Powerline 530E / 510E Security 12 seconds
    FRITZ!Powerline 520E / 500E Reset 2 seconds
  3. Wait about 2 minutes until the process is completed.

3 Resetting the FRITZ!Powerline device

  1. Use the recovery program to reset the FRITZ!Powerline device.
