Sending status messages on smart home devices

To stay informed about the status of your smart home devices, you can use the push service as well as preconfigured templates for convenience functions.

The push service sends emails at the regular interval you select with basic information on for example the use, battery status, and status of the connection to the FRITZ!Box.

Convenience functions in preconfigured templates allow you to be informed about specific events such as turning an LED light FRITZ!DECT 500 on or opening a window with the door/window contact FRITZ!DECT 350 by either immediately receiving an email or a message in FRITZ!App Smart Home. You can also be called when a certain event occurs on a smart home device.

Note:All instructions on configuration and settings given in this guide refer to the latest FRITZ!OS for the FRITZ!Box.
