Behavior of FRITZ!DECT smart plug in case of power or internet failure

If the FRITZ!Box loses power, or if there is no internet connection, or if the DECT connection is interrupted, the settings of the smart home devices remain intact, but automatic switching of the devices is limited. For example, routines can no longer be triggered and access via FRITZ!App Smart Home is not possible. The switching modes "sunrise/sunset" and "calendar" are also only executed for 7 days or for a maximum of 40 calendar entries. If there is still no power, or no DECT or internet connection, this switching will not continue.

However, a functioning FRITZ!Box with an internet connection and an existing connection to the smart home device are prerequisites for smooth and correct operation.

If you configured a specific switching state for your smart plugs after a power failure in the menu "Smart Home > Device Management" or "Devices and Groups" of the FRITZ!Box user interface, this switching state will be activated after the restart.
