Supported DSL lines
The FRITZ!Box supports almost all of the ADSL/VDSL standards and technologies used in Germany and most of the ones used in the rest of Europe. This means that the FRITZ!Box can be used with virtually any DSL line and can establish internet connections with speeds of up to 300 Mbit/s with supervectoring.
Supported DSL standards
- Deutsche Telekom 1TR112 (VDSL2 / ADSL2+ / ADSL2)
Note:All IP-based connections and all BNG connections from Deutsche Telekom are fully supported by the FRITZ!Box.
- VDSL2 supervectoring 35b according to ITU G.993.2 (Annex Q)
Note:In Austria, Telekom Austria also calls supervectoring Vectoring Plus, Vplus, or V+.
- VDSL2 vectoring according to ITU G.998.4 / G.INP and G.993.5 / G.Vector
- VDSL2 according to ITU G.993.2 (Annex A and Annex B)
Important:The FRITZ!Box does not support profile 30a. This profile is used on some 100 Mbit/s lines from M-net, NetAachen, NetCologne, and wilhelm.tel, for example. With these lines, connect the FRITZ!Box with the router supplied by the provider.
- ADSL2+ according to ITU G.992.5 (Annex A, Annex B, Annex J, and Annex M)
- ADSL2 according to ITU G.992.3 (Annex A, Annex B, Annex J, and Annex M)
Supported DSL technologies
- VDSL Long Reach (LR-VDSL2)
- VDSL Robust Overhead Channel (ROC)
- VDSL Save Our Showtime (SOS)
- VDSL Seamless Rate Adaption (SRA)
- ADSL Rate Adaptive Mode (RAM)
- ADSL Downstream Power Back Off (DPBO)
