Using the FRITZ!Box with an internet connection with a static IP address

The FRITZ!Box can be used with an internet connection with a fixed ("static") public IP address. Once the FRITZ!Box is connected as a router to the DSL line or the fiber optic connection, the internet service provider automatically assigns the static IP address to the FRITZ!Box when the internet connection is established.
