Disabling additional confirmation for a MyFRITZ! account
If you can no longer log in to your MyFRITZ! account on myfritz.net because you protected the login with additional confirmation (for example with an authenticator app and one-time password or a fingerprint scanner) and neither the device for confirmation nor a recovery key is available, you can disable the additional protection for your MyFRITZ! account in the user interface of your FRITZ!Box.
Note:All instructions on configuration and settings given in this guide refer to the latest FRITZ!OS for the FRITZ!Box.
Removing additional protection for a MyFRITZ! account in the FRITZ!Box
- Click "Internet" in the FRITZ!Box user interface.
- Click on "MyFRITZ! Account" in the "Internet" menu.
- Click the "Remove Additional Protection for MyFRITZ! Account" button in the section "Additional Protection for Your MyFRITZ! Account". It may take a moment for this section to be displayed.
