Smart home device is not displayed in FRITZ!App Smart Home or the FRITZ!Box user interface

A smart home device registered with the FRITZ!Smart Gateway is not displayed in FRITZ!App Smart Home, the FRITZ!Box user interface (in the "Smart Home" menu), and on FRITZ!Fon. The smart home device is only displayed in the user interface of the FRITZ!Smart Gateway and can only be operated there.

1 Adding a FRITZ!Smart Gateway to the Mesh

To function properly, FRITZ!Smart Gateway must be in the Mesh of the FRITZ!Box, which is indicated by the Mesh symbol under "Home Network > Mesh > Mesh Overview" in the FRITZ!Box user interface.
