FRITZ!Box does not transmit incoming caller ID when calls are diverted
When the FRITZ!Box diverts calls, it transmits the telephone number (caller ID) of the line to which it is connected instead of transmitting the telephone number of the caller.
Telephony providers do not allow the transmission of caller ID
The telephony providers are responsible for transmitting caller ID. Providers only allow the FRITZ!Box to transmit the telephone number of the line that it is connected to. This is therefore not an error on the part of the FRITZ!Box.
The caller's number is transmitted if your telephony provider supports the setup of call diversion and you set up call diversion directly with the provider. With some providers, you can set up call diversion in your personal customer area on the internet, for example.
