The FRITZ!Box 6890 LTE provides high-speed internet via mobile networks. No matter how good your current reception is, the 6890 always provides maximum speed with both 3G and 4G. The 6890 can also be used on DSL connections, in which case LTE serves as a fallback should the DSL connection break off.
Mesh Wi-Fi with FRITZ!
The FRITZ!Box 6890 LTE supports Mesh Wi-Fi, meaning your videos, music and photos seamlessly reach every corner of your home, apartment or office. How does it work? The FRITZ! devices work together as part of a single network, communicating with each other andoptimizing your devices and network usage.
With Mesh you can enjoy high speeds while surfing, streaming or gaming. Instead of waiting for breathtaking HD television and your favorite music, your media will wait for you.
Fast internet at all times
With a download rate of up to 300 Mbit/s, large program updates are done in no time. Gigabit ports and modern, intelligent Wi-Fi ensure rapid connections in the home network, with video on demand, music streaming and IP TV all shared in the home network straight away. Your smartphone will also benefit from this when used at home, since it can access the connection to the LTE router for data applications. It's also possible to use the 6890 LTE on DSL connections. Should the DSL connection break off, the box will automatically switch to the mobile connection.
Making phone calls fun
Along with the FRITZ!Box 6890 LTE you'll have a complete telephone system to connect all your phones, be they IP, ISDN or analog. And with the FRITZ!App Fon you can easily make calls on your smartphone over the landline. The app also informs you of calls and voice messages when you're on the go, while the answering machine and fax function including fax-to-mail bring added convenience.
Smart Wi-Fi
The FRITZ!Box 6890 relies on fast Wi-Fi 5 with Multi-User MIMO, so that videos, music and photos can be distributed in the home network without a loading bar on the smartphone, tablet or other handheld device. Unlike the consecutive streaming to individual devices of the past, now data streams are distributed concurrently to achieve higher Wi-Fi speeds. As a result, the FRITZ!Box 6890 reaches transmission rates of up to 1733 Mbit/s on the 5 GHz band and 800 Mbit/s on the 2.4 GHz band.
Works throughout Europe
With its flexible multi-band support the FRITZ!Box 6890 LTE shows its strengths no matter where you're using it in Europe. Depending on network availability, it automatically accesses all common mobile communication bands currently used in Europe.
FRITZ!OS – fully loaded software
FRITZ!OS, the operating system of your FRITZ!Box, delivers new features on a regular basis. Keep everything in sight with the central Home Network Overview. Make use of the parental controls feature and Wi-Fi guest access, and stay on top of your data consumption. All updates are, of course, free.
