From 28 February to 3 March, the international industry event MWC 2022 is taking place in Barcelona. In line with our slogan "The Smart Wi-Fi Experience", the new fiber flagship FRITZ!Box 5590 Fiber is celebrating its premiere. At the AVM stand, the focus will be on the new Wi-Fi 6 wireless standard and Mesh Wi-Fi.

FRITZ!Box and mesh repeaters bring fast internet and long-range Wi-Fi to any connection and into every home. This makes any task child's play, from entertainment to working from home. The FRITZ!Box 5590 Fiber, which is premiering at the MWC, is the perfect match: With its SFP module, the new fiber flagship is suitable for all standard fiber optic connections throughout Europe and distributes speeds of up to 10 gigabits per second, wirelessly via Wi-Fi 6 (4 x 4) as well as via a 2.5-gigabit LAN port in the home network.

In addition to the FRITZ!Box 7590 AX and FRITZ!Box 6690 Cable top models, the FRITZ!Box 4060 will also be presented at the AVM stand: The Wi-Fi-6-capable tri-band wireless router is ideal for connecting to a high-performance fiber optic or cable modem. The two intelligent mesh repeaters FRITZ!Repeater 6000 and FRITZ!Repeater 1200 AX ensure Wi-Fi throughout the home. With the new FRITZ! Lab, you can get already a preview of FRITZ!OS 7.50, the upcoming major feature update.
