Integrating the FRITZ! Smart Home into the Matter network using the Google Home app

With Google Home you can link the FRITZ!Smart Gateway with the Matter network of a Google smart hub. The FRITZ!Smart Gateway acts as a Matter bridge and seamlessly integrates all devices in your FRITZ! Smart Home into the Matter network.

In the Matter network, smart home devices can be combined with Matter-compatible devices from other manufacturers and then centrally controlled and managed with the Google Home App. If you are using a Google smart hub with smart speaker (for example Nest Mini), you can also easily control your FRITZ! Smart Home by voice command.

Note:It is still possible to use FRITZ!App Smart Home and the FRITZ!Box user interface to control the smart home devices without restriction.
For more information on Matter, refer to the guide Matter with FRITZ!.
