Downloading the FRITZ!OS file
- Call up download.avm.de/fritzwlan/ in your web browser.
- Switch to the folder for your repeater model. There are two different versions of the FRITZ!Repeater 600. If it says "v2" on the type label on the underside of the device, switch to the folder "fritzrepeater-600v2".
- Switch to the subfolder "deutschland" or "other" and then to the folder "fritz.os".
- Download the file with the extension ".image" to the computer.
Installing the latest FRITZ!OS
- Click "System" in the user interface of the FRITZ!Repeater.
- Click "Update" in the "System" menu.
- Click on the "FRITZ!OS file" tab.
- Click the "Browse..." or "Choose File" button.
- Select the update file you downloaded (image file).
- Click the "Start Update" button.
