It is normal for the FRITZ!Repeater to heat up in relation to the load. Therefore, select a location for the repeater where it is not exposed to additional heat and any heat produced can be drawn off:

1. Do not expose the repeater to direct sunlight.
2. Do not use the repeater directly next to devices that also produce heat.
3. Make sure that the ventilation slots are not covered and that there is sufficient ventilation.
4. Do not position the repeater inside a closed cabinet or casing.
