It is normal for the FRITZ!Repeater or its power adapter to heat up in relation to the load. Therefore, select a location for the repeater where it is not exposed to additional heat and any heat produced can be drawn off:

1. Do not expose the repeater or its power adapter to direct sunlight.
2. Do not position the repeater directly next to devices that also produce heat.
3. Do not position the repeater on heat-sensitive surfaces.
4. Make sure that the ventilation slots are not covered. Do not position the repeater on a carpet or on upholstered furniture.
5. Do not position the repeater inside a closed cabinet or casing.
