Protecting individual menu items on FRITZ!Fon with a PIN
Various FRITZ!Box functions can be controlled with a FRITZ!Fon. You can configure a PIN for the menu items "Call diversion", "Wi-Fi", "Smart Home", and "FRITZ!OS Version" so that unauthorized persons cannot access these functions. After you configure it, the PIN must be entered when you call up the respective menu item on the FRITZ!Fon.
Note:All instructions on configuration and settings given in this guide refer to the latest FRITZ!OS for the FRITZ!Box.
- Click "Telephony" in the FRITZ!Box user interface.
- Click "DECT" in the "Telephony" menu.
- Check the option "Enable access protection".
- Enter a four-digit PIN.
- Specify the FRITZ!Box functions for which access protection is to apply.
- Click "Apply" to save the settings.
