Calls drop when transferring calls, toggling calls, or using the consultation function
The call drops when you try to transfer it, toggling two calls, or consult with another party.
Cause
- The telephony provider does not support the "toggling calls" function.
Simply proceed as described below. After each measure, check whether the problem is solved.
1 Enabling toggling of calls in the FRITZ!Box for VoIP and an ISDN landline
The following step is only necessary if the the call should be conducted using an internet telephone number or an ISDN landline number:
- Enter #960*8*#91** on the telephone and press the call key (pick up the handset).
Note:You can restore the default setting of the FRITZ!Box by entering #960*9*#91**.
- Hang up again after about 3 seconds.
2 Enabling toggling of calls in the FRITZ!Box for an analog landline
The following step is only necessary if the the call will be conducted using an analog landline number or if you connected the FRITZ!Box to the landline through another device (for example a cable modem):
- Enter #610*9*#91** on your telephone and press the call key (pick up the handset).
Note:You can restore the default setting of the FRITZ!Box by entering #610*2*#91**.
- Hang up again after about 3 seconds.
Now the FRITZ!Box is configured so that the FRITZ!Box toggles calls, and not your telephony provider.
