Setting up MyFRITZ! report
MyFRITZ!Net informs you on a regular basis by email about the status of your FRITZ! products, available updates, and other news, logins to your FRITZ!Box from outside the home network, and it helps you when you have forgotten the FRITZ!Box password, if you wish.
If you want to have MyFRITZ!Net send you this information via email, all you need to do is register your FRITZ!Box with MyFRITZ!Net. If you did not already do this when setting up your FRITZ!Box or after updating FRITZ!OS, you can do so at any time using the FRITZ!Box user interface.
You will then receive an email with a confirmation link for your FRITZ!Box. Click on it to complete the setup. If you do not confirm the email, MyFRITZ!Net sends the email two more times. If you do not confirm these emails either, your email address is deleted from MyFRITZ!Net and the report is not set up.
If you want to access your FRITZ!Box over the internet, you can also set up a personal MyFRITZ! account and internet access to your FRITZ!Box after you have finished setting up the MyFRITZ! report.
Note:All instructions on configuration and settings given in this guide refer to the latest FRITZ!OS for the FRITZ!Box.
1 Setting up MyFRITZ! report
- Click "Internet" in the FRITZ!Box user interface.
- Click on "MyFRITZ! Account" in the "Internet" menu.
- Enter your email address in the "Your email address" field.
- Click on "Next". Now MyFRITZ!Net sends you an email with the confirmation link to your FRITZ!Box.
Important:If you do not receive an email, the email was classified as unsolicited advertising (spam). In this case, check the spam folder of your email inbox.
- Open the email you received from MyFRITZ!Net.
- Click the "Register Your FRITZ!Box" button in the email. Now you are redirected to myfritz.net. This concludes the setup of the MyFRITZ! report.
