Examples for registering cordless telephones from different manufacturers

In this guide we show you how to register a cordless telephone from other manufacturers with the base station of the FRITZ!Box using different models as examples.

1 Registering a Gigaset SL78H

  1. Switch the telephone on and press the right select key "Register". If "Register" is not displayed above the right select key:
    1. Press the right side of the "Control key".
    2. Select "Menu" and then "Settings" and confirm with "OK".
    3. "Registration" > "OK" > "Register Handset" > "OK"
  2. Select a base station and press "OK".
  3. Enter the four-digit PIN of the DECT base station of the FRITZ!Box and confirm it with "OK".

    Note:The PIN of all FRITZ!Boxes is "0000" in the factory settings.

  4. Wait until the screen displays the message that it is searching for a base station to which it can be registered, then press the DECT button on your FRITZ!Box.
  5. Press and hold the key until the telephone's display shows you that it is successfully registered.

2 Registering a Telekom Sinus 500i

  1. Switch the telephone on.
  2. Select "Menu" and then "Settings" and confirm with "OK".
  3. "Registration" > "OK" > "Register Handset" > "OK"
  4. Select a base station and press "OK".
  5. Enter the four-digit PIN of the DECT base station of the FRITZ!Box and confirm it with "OK".

    Note:The PIN of all FRITZ!Boxes is "0000" in the factory settings.

  6. Select a number for the mobile handset or select "automatic" and press "OK".
  7. Wait until the screen asks you to press the paging key on the base, then press the DECT button on your FRITZ!Box.
  8. Press and hold the key until the telephone's display tells you that the handset is registered.

3 Registering a Telekom Sinus 501

  1. Switch the telephone on.
  2. Press the right side of the "Control key".
  3. Select "Menu" and then "Settings" and confirm with "OK".
  4. "Mobilteil" > "OK" > "MT anmelden" > "OK"
  5. Select a base station and press "OK".
  6. Enter the four-digit PIN of the DECT base station of the FRITZ!Box and confirm it with "OK".

    Note:The PIN of all FRITZ!Boxes is "0000" in the factory settings.

  7. Wait until the message "Anmeldevorgang Basis x" appears and then press the DECT button on your FRITZ!Box.
  8. Hold down the button until the green bell symbol is shown on the display of the telephone, indicating that it was successfully registered.

4 Registering a Telekom Speedphone 300

  1. Switch the telephone on and press the right select key "Register". If "Register" is not displayed above the right select key:
    1. Press the confirmation button in the middle of the control ring.
    2. Select "Menu" and then "Settings" and confirm with "OK".
    3. "Anmeldung" > "OK" > "Handg. anmelden" > "OK"
  2. Select a base station and press "OK".
  3. Enter the four-digit PIN of the DECT base station of the FRITZ!Box and confirm it with "OK".

    Note:The PIN of all FRITZ!Boxes is "0000" in the factory settings.

  4. Wait until the message "Bitte Anmeldetaste auf der Basisstation lange drücken" appears and then push the DECT button on your FRITZ!Box.
  5. Press and hold the key until the telephone displays the message "Anmeldung an Basis [...] erfolgreich".

5 Registering a Philips CD 255 Trio

  1. Switch the telephone on.
  2. Select "Menu" and then "Advanced Set" and confirm with "OK".
  3. "Register" > "OK"
  4. Enter the four-digit PIN of the DECT base station of the FRITZ!Box and confirm it with "OK".

    Note:The PIN of all FRITZ!Boxes is "0000" in the factory settings.

  5. Wait until the message "Searching" appears and then press the DECT button on your FRITZ!Box.
  6. Press and hold the key until registration is successful.
