FRITZ!NAS is not displayed in the Windows network environment

The FRITZ!Box and connected USB storage devices are not displayed in the Windows network environment.

Cause

  • The FRITZ!Box does not support the service required to automatically display storage in the Windows network environment.

Configuring storage (NAS) as a network drive

If you configure storage connected to the FRITZ!Box as network drives on the computer, you can access them as usual:

  1. Configure the storage (NAS) on the computer as a network drive.
