Changing the MyFRITZ! address of the FRITZ!Box
When a FRITZ!Box first logs into your MyFRITZ! account, the FRITZ!Box is assigns a random, unique address ending with .myfritz.net. The FRITZ!Box is always accessible over the internet at this MyFRITZ! address, even if its public IP address changes regularly.
The MyFRITZ! address is required to redirect you easily and reliably to the MyFRITZ! home page of your FRITZ!Box after you have logged in to myfritz.net.
You can change the MyFRITZ! address of your FRITZ!Box and create a different MyFRITZ! address with the extension .myfritz.link for the FRITZ!Box or assign it the MyFRITZ! address of a different FRITZ!Box.
Important:After changing the MyFRITZ! address, VPN connections to the FRITZ!Box must be reconfigured and any bookmarks must be changed to the new MyFRITZ! address. With MyFRITZ! apps, you only have to use them once in the home network so that they then use the new MyFRITZ! address.

- In the corresponding fields, enter the email address and MyFRITZ! password you used to register with MyFRITZ!Net, and click "Log In".

- In the device overview, click the three-dot menu next to the FRITZ!Box whose MyFRITZ! address you wish to change.
- Click "Change MyFRITZ! Address".

Now the MyFRITZ! address of the FRITZ!Box has been changed. It may take up to 25 hours until the new MyFRITZ! address is displayed in the FRITZ!Box. However, the FRITZ!Box can still be reached at all times via MyFRITZ!Net.
