Internet connection is cleared briefly
The FRITZ!Box's internet connection is cleared sporadically and automatically re-established a short time later. This does not affect the internet connection of computers, smartphones, and other devices connected to the FRITZ!Box. One of the following error messages is displayed in the event log of the FRITZ!Box:
- "Internet connection established successfully. IP address [...]
The internet connection was cleared.
Internet connection established successfully. IP address [...]
Internet connection cleared."
Display error in the user interface
The clearing of the internet connection is a display error. The mobile network connection remains established, and the connection is not cleared for 1 second.
We will correct this display error in a future FRITZ!OS update. We cannot give you a release date for the update yet.
Note:You can have push service mails notify you when new updates are available. In addition, you can configure the FRITZ!Box so that new updates are installed automatically. You can enable these options under "System > Push Service" or "System > Update > Auto Update" in the user interface.
