Saving and restoring VPN connections from Configure FRITZ!Box VPN Connection
You can save the configuration files for VPN connections configured with the Configure FRITZ!Box VPN Connection software to your computer and import them on another computer with Configure FRITZ!Box VPN Connection. This protects you against data loss and allows you to add additional VPN connections to the existing VPN connections on the new computer.
1 Saving VPN connections
- Start the Windows Explorer.
- Switch to the directory C:\Users\[User]\AppData\Roaming\AVM.
- Save the folder "FRITZ!VPN" and all of the files contained in it.
2 Restoring VPN connections
- Start the Configure FRITZ!Box VPN Connection software and then close it again.
- Start the Windows Explorer.
- Switch to the directory C:\Users\[User]\AppData\Roaming\AVM.
- Delete the folder "FRITZ!VPN".
- Copy the saved folder "FRITZ!VPN" and all of the files contained in it to the folder "AVM".
