Setting up the FRITZ!Box: Guides for different providers

The FRITZ!Box supports DOCSIS 3.1, which means that it can be used with cable connections in Germany and many cable connections in Europe.

FRITZ!Boxes provided by cable providers are already unlocked for the cable connection and are configured automatically. If you purchased the FRITZ!Box in a store, you must ask your provider to unlock it and configure it once.

If you are using your FRITZ!Box with a cable connection from one of the following providers, use the guide for your provider. If you are using your FRITZ!Box with a different cable provider, proceed as described in the guide Setting up the FRITZ!Box for use with a cable connection.
