Some cable providers offer so-called hotspot services to provide their customers with mobile internet access via private wireless routers belonging to individual customers.

You can set up Vodafone's hotspot service (homespot service) in the FRITZ!Box if the FRITZ!Box was provided by Vodafone. It is not necessary to change any settings in the FRITZ!Box. You can enable or disable the homespot service in Vodafone's customer portal. Then Vodafone activates the service in the FRITZ!Box.

However, setting up a hotspot service from other cable providers requires special wireless routers provided by the respective provider. Currently, you cannot set up these hotspot services in the FRITZ!Box.
