Telephone books can also be copied from one FRITZ!Box to another, for example when switching to a different FRITZ!Box model.
1 Saving the telephone book
- Click "Telephony" in the FRITZ!Box user interface.
- Click "Telephone Book" in the "Telephony" menu.
- Select a telephone book, click the "Save" button, and save the telephone book as an XML file on your computer.
Important:If Microsoft Edge blocks the file download, click "More actions" by the entry and then "Keep" or use a different browser.
- Save all of the telephone books stored in the FRITZ!Box, one after the other.
2 Restoring the telephone book
- Click "Telephony" in the FRITZ!Box user interface.
