Configuring Telekom SIP trunking

In the FRITZ!Box you can set up Telekom SIP trunking with up to 20 telephone numbers that can be used to conduct several simultaneous calls. The FRITZ!Box supports the packages "Deutschland LAN SIP-Trunk Pooling", "Deutschland LAN SIP-Trunk", and the business package "Telekom CompanyFlex SIP-Trunk".

Requirements / Restrictions

  • The FRITZ!Box only supports the operating mode "Registered Mode". "Static Mode" is not supported.

Note:This guide is valid for FRITZ!OS 7.28 or later. If you are using an earlier FRITZ!OS version, the configuration may differ or functions may not be available. You can find the FRITZ!OS version on the "Overview" page of the FRITZ!Box user interface.

Configuring Telekom SIP trunking

  1. Click "Telephony" in the FRITZ!Box user interface.
  2. Click "Telephone Numbers" in the "Telephony" menu.
  3. Click the "New Telephone Number" button.
  4. Enable the option "Internet telephone number" and click "Next".
  5. Select "Telekom SIP-Trunk" or "Telekom CompanyFlex SIP-Trunk" from the drop-down list.
  6. Enter the trunk number of the connection.
  7. Select the length of the longest internal extension number from the drop-down list.
  8. Enter the extension of the console (switchboard).
  9. Enter the other telephone numbers of your SIP trunk. You can enter up to 19 additional telephone numbers that you can use for telephones and other terminal devices connected to the FRITZ!Box.
  10. Enter your user name and password in the section "Account Information".
  11. Click "Next" and follow the wizard's instructions.
