Setting up FRITZ!Box for use with a Sunrise line

The FRITZ!Box is optimally prepared for use with Sunrise and gives you unlimited access to all features, including internet, telephony, and television (We TV). Simply connect the FRITZ!Box to the internet connection and select Sunrise as the internet service provider in the FRITZ!Box. The FRITZ!Box is then automatically configured by Sunrise.

Note:All instructions on configuration and settings given in this guide refer to the latest FRITZ!OS for the FRITZ!Box.

1 Connecting the FRITZ!Box

  1. Use a network cable to connect the "WAN" port on the FRITZ!Box to the LAN port on the fiber optic modem (ONT), for example use the network cable included with delivery.

2 Configuring the internet connection in the FRITZ!Box

  1. Open the FRITZ!Box user interface.
  2. Enter the FRITZ!Box password on the bottom of the device and click "Log In".
  3. Click "Internet" and then "Account Information".
  4. Select "Sunrise spezifische Auswahl" from the drop-down list "Internet connection via" and enable the correct connection type.
  5. Click "Apply" to save the settings.

Now the FRITZ!Box establishes a connection to Sunrise and automatically configures the internet connection and your telephone numbers.

Important:If configuration fails, your internet access may not have been activated yet. In this case, contact Sunrise.
