Setting up FRITZ!Box for use with a Convergenze line

The FRITZ!Box is optimally prepared for use with Convergenze. Simply connect the FRITZ!Box to the internet connection and select Convergenze as the internet service provider in the FRITZ!Box. The complete FRITZ!Box range of functions for internet and multimedia is then available to all of the devices in your home network without restriction.

Important:Currently, we do not have any information about whether the FRITZ!Box can make calls over Convergenze and if so, how to configure the telephone numbers in the FRITZ!Box. As soon as we have any new information, we will update this guide.

1 Connecting the FRITZ!Box

  1. Connect the "WAN" port on the FRITZ!Box with the LAN port of the DSL or fiber optic modem (ONT, Optical Network Termination). For detailed information, refer to the quick guide included with the FRITZ!Box and the manual.

2 Configuring the internet connection in the FRITZ!Box

  1. Open the FRITZ!Box user interface.
  2. Enter the FRITZ!Box password on the bottom of the device and click "Log In".
  3. Click "Internet" and then "Account Information".
  4. Select "Convergenze" from the drop-down list "Internet connection via".
  5. Click "Apply" to save the settings.
  6. Now the FRITZ!Box checks whether the internet connection can be established. Configuration is completed as soon as the message "The internet connection check was successful" is displayed.

    Important:If the internet connection check fails, your internet access may not have been activated yet. In this case, contact Convergenze.
