Enabling keylock on FRITZ!Fon
If you lock the keys on your FRITZ!Fon, you can only call emergency numbers and answer incoming calls. In the settings of the telephone you can select whether the buttons should be unlocked or remain locked when you receive a call. Depending on the setting, you either have to briefly press the end call key or hold it down to hang up.
1 Enabling keylock for calls
- Press the "Menu" key on the telephone.
- Scroll to "Settings" and press "OK".
- "Telephony" > "OK"
- If the keypad should remain locked during calls, disable the option "Release the keylock during a call". Then you have to hold down the end call key to hang up.
- If the keypad should be unlocked during calls, enable the option "Release the keylock during a call". Then you only have to briefly press the end call key to hang up.
2 Enabling keylock
- Press the # key until "Keypad locked" appears in the display.
Note:You can disable keylock again by pressing and holding down the # key.
