FRITZ!App reports "No Wi-Fi connection has been established"

Although you set up FRITZ!App Fon according to our guide, you cannot conduct calls over a VPN connection. FRITZ!App Fon displays the message "FRITZ!Box cannot be reached. No Wi-Fi connection has been established". The app functions properly as soon as a Wi-Fi connection is established.

Enabling mobile data

  1. Open the iOS settings.
  2. Tap "Cellular".
  3. Enable the option "Cellular Data" for FRITZ!App Fon.
