Stream a summer of sport with FRITZ!

The European Football Championship is now over and the next major event is already in the starting blocks with the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Paris. In addition, the summer temperatures mean that it might be worth watching the sporting highlights on your balcony or terrace. We show you how easy it is to watch these and other programs thanks to FRITZ!.

Use IPTV providers' apps on smart TVs and other devices

You can easily watch sporting events such as the Olympic and Paralympic Games on your smart TV, tablet or smartphone in two ways: Either using an app from your IPTV service or the apps of the respective television station.

Almost all providers offer packages for streaming TV – including Magenta TV from Deutsche Telekom, GigaTV from Vodafone or HD TV from 1&1. There are also other providers on the market such as Waipu TV or Zattoo.

Stream in your browser

For maximum convenience, it's best to use your IPTV provider's app. Alternatively, a web-based service is usually available so that you can watch the Olympic and Paralympic Games directly in your device's browser. This also applies to broadcasters such as ARD, ZDF and Eurosport.

Always on air with Mesh Wi-Fi and FRITZ!Repeater

Multiple FRITZ! devices, such as a FRITZ!Box and a FRITZ!Repeater, create a common Mesh Wi-Fi together. Simply place the FRITZ!Repeater near your balcony or terrace. You can bridge larger distances with a series of repeaters – find out how here. This makes it easy to extend the Wi-Fi to the balcony or garden, so you can watch whatever sport you want, where you want.

Mobile - far away from fiber, cable or DSL

Do you have good mobile reception in your holiday let or gazebo? With a stable 4G connection, you can set up a Wi-Fi network for streaming with the FRITZ!Box 6890 LTE , 6850 LTE or 6820 LTE. If you also have 5G reception at your garden shed, the FRITZ!Box 6850 5G offers top performance.
