2000 awards for AVM and FRITZ!

The journey began in 1991 with the first award from Computer Persönlich for the “AVM BTX decoder”, which was rated "top class" in comparison with nine other BTX decoders.

In 2017, the German Design Council presented the 1000th award as part of the German Design Award for the FRITZ!Box 7590. The 2000th award was given by Swiss medium PC Tipp to the FRITZ!Box 5690 Pro, which received the highest rating of 5/5 stars.

In total, more than 1000 awards have been bestowed by German media. Almost half of all awards are from European countries, with some from as far away as Australia. FRITZ! products have been able to hold their own against the competition in comparison tests around 400 times. In around 300 reader tests, you, our customers, gave top marks.

Connect has given the most awards (133), closely followed by Computer Bild with 127. With a total of 109 awards, the FRITZ!Box 7590 is the most awarded product. In the repeater category, the FRITZ!Repeater 3000 is in first place with 55 awards.
