Stiftung Warentest: Test win for FRITZ!Box 6850 5G

In Stiftung Warentest's latest comparison test of mobile hotspots, the FRITZ!Box 6850 5G took first place with the grade "good" (1.6), thus winning its first major award.

Stiftung Warentest, the largest independent testing institute for consumer products in Germany, tested six different mobile hotspots with power adapter units, including for ease-of-use, security and features. With the overall grade of "good" (1.6), the FRITZ!Box 6850 5G was able to hold its own as the test winner against models from other manufacturers.

Power consumption and data protection

The FRITZ!Box 6850 5G received the top grade of “very good” (1.5 and 1.2) in the “power consumption” and “data protection” categories. In the test, getting the FRITZ!Box 6850 5G set up as well as its day-to-day use were particularly positive.

There were also plus points with the rating "good" for the safety features - a category in which many other models in the test did significantly worse, with "sufficient" and even "poor" ratings.
