Stiftung Warentest: Five FRITZ! products on top in independent comparison test

Whether DSL, cable or Mesh Wi-Fi: The FRITZ! products from AVM are simply unbeatable. This is the result of tests carried out by "Stiftung Warentest," the largest independent testing institute for consumer products in Germany. After extensively testing a range of Wi-Fi routers and mesh systems, "Stiftung Warentest" awarded no less than five products from AVM. "Stiftung Warentest" is known for its extensive and complex quality tests and is involved in important international consumer organizations such as the ICRT, a global consortium of consumer organisations, which test products and of which "Consumer Reports" is also a member.

FRITZ!Box 7590 AX, 7530 AX and 6690 Cable make a clean sweep

Eight devices were tested in the major router comparison test, seven for DSL connections and one for cable connections. All three tested FRITZ!Box models, the FRITZ!Box 7590 AX, 7530 AX and 6690 Cable, received the quality rating "good" with a grade of 1.9. Stiftung Warentest also tested ten Mesh Wi-Fi systems.

The three FRITZ!Box models received the rating "very good" three times, in the categories ease-of-use, security and telephony, which no other product was able to achieve. All three also have "very good security features". This builds on previous test wins in 2012, 2017 and 2020, making this AVM's fourth triple success from the Stiftung Warentest consumer organization.
