Updates for the FRITZ!Fon family: A clear design, dark mode and improved audio quality

AVM is providing a comprehensive update for the FRITZ!Fon models X6, C6, C5 and C4. In addition to a number of improved design features, the update also offers innovations to improve the user experience, including dark mode and improved audio quality. The FRITZ!Fon is an all-round talent that offers high telephone convenience for business and pleasure, and can also be used as a media player and smart home control. In combination with a FRITZ!Box with FRITZ!OS 7.90 or later, the FRITZ!Fon update is available for the FRITZ!Fon X6, C6, C5, and C4 models. Installation is as simple and convenient as ever: Just click on Menu / Settings / Software Version. More information on the various FRITZ!Fon models can be found at en.avm.de/fritzfon.

An updated interface design: Sleek, readable, modern

With this update the FRITZ!Fon interface has been simplified, with clear lines and modern accent colors for a sleek, elegant look. Users also benefit from improved readability: Optimized fonts in all menus provide for a more pleasant visual experience.

Dark mode: Design meets functionality

The new dark mode is available for all models, and is not only easy on the eyes in poor lighting, but also offers elegant aesthetics. The dark mode is especially well coordinated with the FRITZ!Fon X6 housing design. 

New start screens

The popular start screens have been redesigned and expanded: The weather screen now shows a new storm alert symbol that warns users about forecasted strong wind and storms. All graphic elements, including the analog clock and the icons, have also been redesigned for a more modern look.

Audio quality for top-level hands-free operation

Users who use hands-free operation benefit from further improvements to the audio quality. Telephone calls sound even clearer and more natural – a plus for daily calling for business or pleasure.
