With the latest update for the FRITZ!App Smart Home, AVM is expanding the possibilities of smart heating control. What was previously only possible in the browser-based FRITZ!OS can now be carried out in the FRITZ!App Smart Home: The comprehensive configuration of all radiator controls that support FRITZ!Box schedules is now even more user-friendly. FRITZ! users can look forward to a variety of new features that increase convenience and support even more efficient energy use.

New features in the FRITZ!App Smart Home

  • Heating plans at a glance: The highlight of the release: The desired and cool-down temperatures can now be con-figured and adjusted directly in the app. The ability to intuitively manage heating plans makes it easier to set schedules and ensures the perfect room climate (humidity and temperature) around the clock.
  • External temperature sensors and offset settings: Precise temperature control thanks to the ability to integrate external temperature sensors. In addition, users can individually adjust the measured temperature on the ra-diator control to compensate for fluctuations.
  • Open window detection: The sensitivity and valve closing time of the radiator controls can now be configured in the FRITZ!App Smart Home.
  • Operation lock /´keylock: Protection against unwanted changes to the heating controls by locking the buttons, ideal for households with children.
  • Adaptive heating start: The preheating phase ensures that the desired temperature is achieved at the right ti-me, completely automatically.
  • Temperature limit: Preferred temperature range for greater efficiency – the adjustable temperature limit prevents temperatures from being too high or too low when the radiator controls are operated manually.
  • Create and manage groups: Radiator controls can now also be grouped together using the FRITZ!App Smart Home – for centralized control and greater clarity in the smart home.
