New FRITZ! products and innovations for the best broadband home network

"powerful. connected. home.": From 18 to 20 October AVM October AVM will be showing what is possible in the home network thanks to top broadband technology at this year's BBWF industry event – now part of Network X. Highlights include the FRITZ!Box 5590 Fiber and FRITZ!Box 5530 Fiber, which can be used in all networks throughout Europe. In addition to other current premium products for all broadband connections – from fiber to cable and DSL to 5G – the latest FRITZ!Repeater generation with Wi-Fi 6 and Mesh will also be on display at stand B45, such as the new FRITZ!Repeater 3000 AX. Visitors can also get an up-close look at the more than 100 updates and improvements included in FRITZ!OS 7.50.

The Broadband World Forum (BBWF), taking place in Amsterdam in October, is one of the most important industry events in Europe. By merging with "5G World" and "Telco Cloud" under the name Network X, interest in the event is once again likely to increase. As a broadband specialist, AVM is presenting several highlights for each type of connection. The fiber optic models FRITZ!Box 5590 Fiber and FRITZ!Box 5530 Fiber are perfect for European providers and users, as both models support all common fiber standards (AON, GPON, XGS-PON) and can therefore be used in all networks throughout Europe. Since end users can easily connect the FRITZ!Box 5590 Fiber and 5530 Fiber directly to the fiber optic outlet and immediately enjoy the benefits of a powerful and reliable all-in-one device, providers benefit from significantly reduced service effort and high customer satisfaction, among other things. To distribute high fiber speeds wirelessly in the home network, the FRITZ!Box Fiber models have powerful Mesh Wi-Fi and a range of different networking options. FRITZ!Box integrates, among other things, high-speed internet, Wi-Fi, streaming, IP telephony and Smart Home in one device, thus also significantly reducing energy needs. The same applies to the new FRITZ! products for cable, DSL and mobile.

Mesh Wi-Fi repeater with Wi-Fi 6 for a seamless home network

To seamlessly expand the home network, for example in particularly large apartments and houses, AVM offers various Mesh Wi-Fi repeaters that providers can also use to expand their product range. This also includes Wi-Fi 6 repeaters such as the new FRITZ!Repeater 3000 AX, which AVM will be presenting at the BBWF.

FRITZ!OS 7.50: more than 100 updates and improvements.

Another highlight in Amsterdam will be the upcoming major FRITZ!OS update. Visitors who are interested can experience and try out the more than 100 updates and improvements included in FRITZ!OS 7.50, covering all areas of the home network. In addition to an optimized user interface, this includes even more performance with Mesh Wi-Fi and optimizations for Smart Home, VPN and telephony.
