Two product premieres for Mesh Wi-Fi and telephony – a versatile FRITZ!OS 7.50 – experience fiber optics live with FRITZ!

AVM will be showing new FRITZ! products for Mesh Wi-Fi, Smart Home and a new FRITZ!Fon at IFA 2022 in Berlin from 2 - 6 September. The IFA presence in Hall 10.2 and the outdoor stand at the IFA Summer Garden will also focus on fiber optics and the new, extensive FRITZ!OS 7.50 update. AVM will be presenting its complete portfolio of FRITZ!Box models for fiber optics, DSL, cable and 5G/LTE, as well as FRITZ! Mesh Repeaters and Powerline products. The versatile Smart Home products for heating, energy and lighting control and measuring consumption will also be on display. With these products, users get a secure digital home that offers them strong Wi-Fi and in which they can conveniently use energy- and cost-saving applications.

Live demo: Easily connect FRITZ!Box Fiber at home

For the growing number of fiber optic connections, AVM offers two models for all networks, the FRITZ!Box 5590 Fiber and 5530 Fiber, which are already equipped for future speeds. In a live demonstration, AVM will show IFA visitors how easy it is to connect a FRITZ!Box Fiber at home and what energy-saving advantages customers have by using a router directly at the connection. A FRITZ!Box Fiber can save around 40 percent in energy costs – compared to a connection that uses a router with an additional fiber optic modem.

New in the Mesh Wi-Fi: The FRITZ!Repeater 3000 AX with tri-band Wi-Fi 6

With the new FRITZ!Repeater 3000 AX, AVM is introducing a powerful new Mesh Repeater that works with tri-band and intelligent Mesh technology. It achieves data rates of up to 4200 Mbit/s and reliably gets data to every corner of the home network.

Product premiere: The new FRITZ!Fon X6 for telephony and Smart Home

At the IFA, AVM is presenting the new FRITZ!Fon X6 DECT telephone with a large, high-resolution 2.4-inch display in a black and white design. With their top-notch connection and voice quality, long battery life and the range of options such as call forwarding or answering machines, cordless phones are a much-used companion for the whole family and when working from home. Now, with the new FRITZ!Fon X6, AVM is presenting the all-round talent for any situation. A new, additional Favorites key, various switching options for Smart Home and Wi-Fi as well as the many convenience features round off the wide range of features.

Save energy and money with the new FRITZ!DECT 302 and the classic FRITZ!DECT 301

The two smart thermostats, the new FRITZ!DECT 302 and the popular FRITZ!DECT 301, heat the user's home conveniently and efficiently and help to save on energy costs. Connected to a FRITZ!Box, they automatically and precisely regulate the room temperature according to the user's individual specifications. With the FRITZ!DECT 302, shorter intervals enable easy interaction with door and window contacts. Thanks to its extended energy concept, complete with with a new chip, a long battery life across several heating seasons is possible.

The major FRITZ!OS 7.50 update

The comprehensive FRITZ!OS 7.50 update will bring users around 100 new features and improvements for their FRITZ! products. In the Smart Home, the new scenes and routines now enable if-then combinations for a convenient and energy-efficient life. The update also makes it easier to set up VPN connections, increases Mesh Wi-Fi performance and FRITZ!Fon learns to speak with the caller announcement feature. FRITZ!OS 7.50 will be rolled out for free for the first products in the next few weeks.
