At the IFA 2022 AVM presents the multi-talented FRITZ!Fon X6 in a new black and white design for the home network. Equipped with a range of features, the DECT telephone is perfectly attuned to the digital home. Support of full-duplex HD, including for the integrated speaker phone, and the high-performance battery mean users can make long phone calls with high voice quality. With the familiar FRITZ!Fon features such as answering machine, telephone books, and call blocking, the new FRITZ!Fon X6 is the perfect partner for both personal and business use. Convenience features include caller information, calendar items, baby monitor, and a start screen with weather forecasts and alarms. The FRITZ!Fon earns its all-rounder reputation with features for Wi-Fi and Smart Home. Guests can be added to the home network quickly and easily via QR code and the Wi-Fi can be switched on and off at the touch of a button. Furthermore, the FRITZ!Fon manages Smart Home devices such as smart lamps and plugs. Free FRITZ!OS updates regularly deliver new features. With the new, user-defined Favorites key on the side of the phone, users can quickly switch to their most important menu, e.g., for Smart Home or telephone books. The new FRITZ!Fon X6 has a large, high-resolution 2.4-inch color display for enhanced readability.

Landline telephony and Smart Home – the new FRITZ!Fon X6

The energy-saving DECT wireless standard and high voice quality make the FRITZ!Fon X6 the ideal choice for telephony in the home, remote working and personal use. Important information, such as upcoming appointments or weather forecasts are shown on the new, large color display. Received calls and answering machine messages are shown on the display at the touch of a button. Integrated sensors activate the telephone as soon as it is picked up and switch off the display and keypad illumination when placed on the user’s ear. The FRITZ!Fon X6 is ideally suited to serve a range of applications in the smart FRITZ! home network, including the FRITZ!DECT 210 or 200 smart plugs and the FRITZ!DECT 302 and 301 smart radiator controls. In addition, the FRITZ!Fon X6 receives live images from video intercom systems. The integrated media player makes it easy to play music or show photos stored on the FRITZ!Box or other media servers on any playback device, including Smart TVs or wireless speakers. Together with a FRITZ!Box, the DECT telephone provides up to five digital answering machines, easy-to-read call lists, telephone books including online contacts, blocked caller lists and lots more.
