The new FRITZ!DECT 302 smart radiator control and the FRITZ!DECT 301 can help users reduce their heating bills and the upcoming FRITZ!OS update offers a range of updates for the FRITZ! Smart Home. Lower heating costs with the new FRITZ!DECT 302 and the classic FRITZ!DECT 301

AVM is exhibiting the new FRITZ!DECT 302 intelligent radiator control at this year's IFA. Connected to a FRITZ!Box, it automatically and precisely regulates the room temperature. This allows users to conveniently heat their home and according to their individual needs, saving energy and heating costs in the process. The new FRITZ!DECT 302 can be operated via smart switch, FRITZ!App Smart Home, laptop, FRITZ!Fon or directly on the device itself. The intelligent radiator control has an easy-to-read e-paper display with a menu and four function keys. Short transmission intervals for data exchange with the FRITZ!Box enable more actions with door and window contacts Thanks to the advanced energy concept, a long battery life across several heating seasons is possible. The new FRITZ!DECT 302 and the familiar FRITZ!DECT 301, which use the energy-saving DECT ULE radio standard, can be mounted on all conventional radiator valves. Both models are now available to purchase (in select markets).

More Smart Home with FRITZ!OS 7.50 – new scenes and routines

The major FRITZ!OS 7.50 update, which will be rolled out in the coming weeks, expands the FRITZ! Smart Home with several new options. With scenes, a range of different actions can now be called up simultaneously in the Smart Home. For example, with the "Coming Home" scene, all radiator controls can be set to the comfort temperature at the touch of a button, and your LED lights and smart plugs, the Wi-Fi and/or guest Wi-Fi, and the answering machine can all be switched on at the same time. The new routines ensure devices, scenarios and templates with an if-then link are automatically activated. For example, if the humidity measured by the FRITZ!DECT 440 reaches a certain level, the previously configured scene "Ventilation" with a FRITZ!DECT 200 smart plug with a connected humidifier is applied.

Save energy with FRITZ!

All FRITZ! products are designed from the outset to be efficient and consume as little power as possible. The all-in-one approach – internet, Wi-Fi, telephony, Smart Home and media server in the FRITZ!Box – eliminates costs for additional products. Furthermore, the Smart Home offering from FRITZ! gives users a number of ways to live more energy efficiently and reduce costs. The FRITZ!DECT 200 and 210 smart plugs provide helpful measurement features and automatic switching schedules. They make it especially easy for users to prevent unwanted power consumption from devices in standby or from chargers. With switching schedules, it is possible to save a certain amount kilowatt hours per year. To make its sustainable energy concept complete, AVM provides long-term product care featuring regular updates and the option of using earlier FRITZ!Box models as repeaters or Smart Home hubs in the home network.
