FRITZ!Powerline adapters can also be used in different phases (phase conductors) of the household power supply.

FRITZ!Powerline adapters transmit data to the electrical wiring as a high-frequency signal. This results in "crosstalk" from one phase to the other if the phase conductors run parallel over a distance of at least 0.5 meters. Since this is the case in almost every building, FRITZ!Powerline adapters can also be used in different phases.

However, you can only achieve the best data throughput if you use FRITZ!Powerline adapters on the same phase.
