Setting up FRITZ!Powerline in the FRITZ!Box home network

FRITZ!Powerline adds an additional wireless access point to your home network quickly and easily. This way you will have ideal Wi-Fi reception and high-speed connections to the internet and home network, even when outside the Wi-Fi range of your FRITZ!Box.

When using a FRITZ!Box with FRITZ!OS 7 or later, integrate the FRITZ!Powerline device into the FRITZ! Mesh during setup. The FRITZ!Powerline device adopts all of the FRITZ!Box's Wi-Fi settings, such as access information and guest access, and can be used directly by all of the wireless devices in the home network.

There are several ways to connect FRITZ!Powerline with the home network. Which connection type makes the most sense for you depends on your operational environment.
