Every 12 hours, FRITZ!Powerline reports "Repeater registration with the access point failed: Authentication error"

Every 12 hours, the Wi-Fi connection of the FRITZ!Powerline adapter is briefly interrupted. The message "Repeater registration with the access point failed: Authentication error" is displayed in the event log of the FRITZ!Powerline adapter.

FRITZ!Powerline refreshes the WPA3 connection

When WPA3 encryption is used, the FRITZ!Powerline adapter re-registers with the FRITZ!Box every 12 hours to refresh the WPA3 encryption and thus increase the security of the Wi-Fi connection. When this happens, the FRITZ!Box may report an authentication error although no error has occurred. The Wi-Fi connection of the wireless devices connected to the FRITZ!Powerline adapter is briefly interrupted when the WPA3 encryption is refreshed and is automatically re-established.
