FRITZ!Fon reports "Internet radio/Audio server already being used"

When you attempt to listen to podcasts, internet radio, or play audio files from the FRITZ!Box Media Server with a FRITZ!Fon, one of the following messages is displayed on the telephone and playback fails:

  • "Internet radio already being used"
  • "Audio server already being used"

1 Cannot use the function for technical reasons

For technical reasons, it is not possible to listen to podcasts and/or internet radio, and/or play music files from the FRITZ!Box Media Server with more than two telephones at the same time.
